Circular3

About & editorial policy

Circular3 is a web directory built on a simple idea: treat the web like an editorial beat. Instead of algorithmic rankings or paid listings, we file sites the way a newsroom files stories — by desk, by topic, by what matters to the reader.

The directory carries 836 approved sites across 22 named desks, from the Motoring Desk and Legal Affairs Desk to the Technology & Devices Beat and the catch-all Miscellaneous Files. Each entry is submitted through our open intake form and reviewed by editors before it goes to press.

We built Circular3 because finding good, independently operated websites has become harder as search results fill with aggregators and advertising. A directory organised by editorial judgment — not traffic or payment — offers a different kind of reference: slower, more deliberate, and more useful for readers who know what beat they are working.

Submission is free. Listing is free. Circular3 charges nothing for inclusion and does not accept payment to influence placement. If your site belongs in the dispatch, file it through the submission form and our editors will take a look.

The directory is updated on a rolling basis. As new submissions clear review, they are filed under the appropriate desk and the index updates accordingly. Circular3 covers domains in all languages, though the desk names and editorial copy are published in English.
